Children from Christian families often find that going to state-run schools in Pakistan brings extra tensions and pressures simply because they are Christians. Even at primary school, Christian children are aware that they are different from their Muslim fellow-pupils and they often face discrimination, name-calling and bullying.

"Our daughter felt under great pressure as the only Christian in her class in the state-run school. She was tense and anxious about going to school. Now, at the Christian school she is comfortable and really enjoys school. Her confidence has grown 200%" - testimony of a Christian parent.
